Bellow are the most commonly asked questions about lawn care:
Q: How long do the products last?
A: The duration of any products is affected by many factor, light, water, soil ph, plant species, and cultural practices. However, we reasonably estimate is up to 28 days after all residuals are gone there is no further control or prevention.
Q: Are your products natural or organic?
A:The short answer is no; the technology to be 100% natural for all types of lawn problems for all types of lawns in all parts of the world is not yet available. However, we make every effort to integrate natural and organic products with our traditional products whenever possible.
Q: Are your products safe?
A: All pesticides whether natural or synthetics could cause allergies or other reactions, to help protect your health and the environment we DO NOT use organophosphate or carbomate or any product that has been proven by the EPA to be carcinogens, we use reduced risk and exempt products that have a low risk of toxicity.
Q: Are your products guaranteed to work?
A: While no product is guaranteed to work by the manufacturer due to the biodiversity of insects, disease, and weeds, our IPM process allows us to change products and procedures to achieve and acceptable levels of control.
Q: Do you have a long term contract?
A: No, we do not have long term contracts so if you are not satisfied with your service or results you can cancel anytime. However we strongly discourage you from attempting to use a one-time service to solve your lawn problems as they are unachievable, we make a minimum commitment recommendation of a bi-monthly service.
Q: How often should I mow my lawn?
A: That will depend on what type of lawn you have, but a general rule of thumb for mowing is making sure you have a sharp blade, you mow at the highest recommended level, and mow it when it has grown one third, never allow your lawn height to double in size before you mow it. Practicing correct lawn mowing cultural practices will reduce the need to apply pesticides and fertilizers while having a better looking lawn. For specific lawn type mowing height contact your local cooperative extension service for your county or state.
Q: How often should I water my lawn?
A: Watering frequency and length will vary depending on your species type or variety, but what is most important is that you don’t over water, overwatering can make your lawn more susceptible to insects and diseases requiring unnecessary use of pesticides. If you have questions about how to water your lawn also see your local cooperative extension service on watering your lawn.
Q: How do you control weeds on my lawn?
A: There are three primary ways to control weeds on lawns one is the right mowing practice will be the only 100% natural way to control weeds. The second is using a pre-emergent weed control that will prevent weeds from establishing roots and the third option is a post-emergent weed control that will kill the established weeds mostly broad leaf weeds and sedges. Grassy weeds once established cannot be removed by chemical methods.
Q:Why is my grass yellow?
A: if your lawn is yellow it is generally be either and insects or disease or both, an inspection would be required to arrive at an accurate diagnosis.
Q: Do you offer discounts for volume or large properties?
A: Our service fees are based on the amount of product and time required to service every 1000 square feet, we do not change our formulations or procedure cut costs as this would produce an inferior service. However we do provide free home pest control for qualified properties with our complete lawn care program giving you additional savings.
Q: Do you always treat for weeds and disease on every service visit?
A: Upon every visit we inspect the lawn for insects, weeds and disease, if we find either an isolated case specific to an area we will spot treat it only. A blanket application of pesticides for prevention purposes is most often used on golf courses and sports turf with higher maintenance requirements which are not required by home or commercial lawns.
Q: Do you use granular fertilizers?
A: Our fertilizers are specifically formulated for lawns and are in a liquid for applied to lawns on every visit.
Q: Do you apply an insecticide on every visit?
Yes, The major problem with lawns is insects such as chinch bugs, grubs, cut worm, web worms, which can attack any time of the year and without warning this is the only preventive service we apply because it’s the most frequent problem of lawns.
Q: Why do you offer two types of services?
A: Our standard service designed based on what most customers have required from us in the past, our premium service offers a higher level of services and frequency for more demanding lawn customers.
Q: Do you offer quarterly lawn service?
A: In our experience quarterly lawn service in South Florida do little to protect or enhance the appearance of your lawn it is mostly an economic decision. Since most products do not last more than 28 days it leaves your lawn exposed to insect and diseases for over two months. Without routine inspections we cannot offer a reliab

A beautiful green lawn has environmental benefits too. A thick green lawn helps to cool the environment around your property, converts carbon dioxide into oxygen, improves the air quality and prevents soil erosion. A greener healthy lawn is a greener environment.
A healthy lawn requires 6 basic needs soil type, mowing height, mowing frequency, watering time, watering frequency, and sunlight. If you get all these 6 right or as many as you can you will have a beautiful healthy eco friendly lawn that reduces the need for insecticides, fungicides and fertilizers improving the immediate environment around your property and the water you drink and the air you breath.
The right selections of turf for your property and for the owner, lawns are a lot like a pet you have no idea how much work they until they are home. The soil type is vital in lawn selection as the pH in the soil will determine what the lawns nutritional requirements as well as the insects and diseases it will get and the amount of pesticides and fungicides, nitrogen, potassium iron, magnesium or manganese it will require.
If you have ever said or thought to yourself I would like to have the lawn my golf club has, you need to have a conversation with the grounds superintendent and you will quickly find out how much work it is to keep three and four varieties of lawns. He will tell you how those lawns are walked through and inspected daily or how those short greens are mowed everyday and how they have to make up to 13 fungicide applications per year to control the fungus or how they are fertilized every month and the ridiculous amounts of nitrogen that have to be applied every month to get them to green. If the grass is greener on the other side is because somebody is spending a lot of time and money on it.
We believe in education and educating our customers is vital to a healthy lawn because the customer owns the lawn but a landscaper might mow it and trusts us to control everything else. Mowing and mowing it right with a sharp blade at the right height and at the right frequency will do more for your lawn than any lawn care program can ever do. This is the most eco friendly pest control and prevention you can perform.
As most lawn problems are caused by not performing one of these vital steps. Performing theses steps correctly will result in a greener, thick, deep rooted healthy lawn that is naturally fertilized, weed free, resistant to bugs and fungus, naturally reducing the need for frequent fertilizer, pesticides and fungicides.
This is the most eco friendly integrated pest management way to perform lawn care since there are no lawn care products such as fungicides available that are natural or organic that can used in commercial program at a reasonable cost to the consumer. Cultural practices and conservation is the eco friendly way.
Watering you lawn correctly is one of the vital steps in controlling weeds, diseases and bugs. Too much water and you cause root rot, dollar weeds and foliar disease. Too little water and your lawn suffer stress attracting insects like chinch bugs.
The key to water conservation is not water restrictions but rather lawn knowledge, knowing how much water your lawn really needs and when it needs it and at the right time of the day is the key to eco friendly lawn care, not to mention conserving water and saving you money.
