A female flea will lays her tiny white eggs loosely on the hairs of animals and people. The eggs easily fall off onto the ground, floors, bedding, or furnishings. Fleas can lay as many as 500 eggs over a period of several months by laying them in small batches of 3 to 18 eggs at a time.
